What were your duties?Collecting from school, taking them home and prepare a light snack or lunch, arranging play dates and outings. In the holiday I would assist more during the week. Once a week babysitting where I would read them bedtime stories and keep them entertained, make sure they brushed their teeth. 
Your comments on the experience with this positionI enjoyed it very much. I love looking after these little girls. No, I do not have any issues at all.

Please tell us a bit more about the courses you are currently busy with, if any and also a bit more about where you see yourself in 5 years? I am only starting Bible school in February. In five years I would like to be married. I would like to have my own Pre School or after-care.
How did you get involved in child care and why are you interested au pairing/ babysitting?When I matriculated, I loved being around children, I then decided to do child care.
What is the age of the youngest child you have cared for?The youngest child that I have cared for is 15 months old.
What activities are you involved in?Dancing, Modern dance,  children's co ordination. Writing of short plays and concerts.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies or other jobs?I really enjoy hiking, I love being outdoors. Going out for movies or walking in the mall.
What do you like most about childcare and being part of a childs life?I love to see how they grow and develop. They get so attached to you even if you help them right, they don't hold any grudges. They keep you fit and alive. 
What kinds of activities do you enjoy doing with children?Making up silly games, playing their imaginary games. Taking them out to the park or river feeding the ducks.All art and craft games.
Explain what you would do in case of an emergency?I would find out what is wrong, see if I can assist the child in any way. If it is a small emergency where the child has cut himself I can attend to it, but in a serious case I would contact the doctor or ambulance emergency numbers given by the family, If I can I will take the child to the doctor or hospital and notify the parents imminently. 
What is the most difficult situation you have encountered while caring for a child? How did you handle it?I have had no situation I could not handle on my own. 
What is your approach to discipline?I am firm but fair, I use removal of privileges.  I would discuss it with the parents and find out what type of approach they use to discipline their children. 

How would you handle:

A two year old having a tantrum?I would ignore it, You cant talk to them whilst they are having a tantrum, once they have calmed down then talk to them.
A 5 year old drawing on a wall?I would let him help me clean the wall. Then explain why it is important not to write on walls. 
An 8 year old refusing to do homework?I can make it more exciting, take a break in between. Use a reward system and praise him/her for doing their homework. 
Which age groups are you comfortable working with?I am comfortable working with 6months to 7 years of age.
Do you still work for any of your previous clients? Which ones?Yes, Wendy, Mrs Lainsberg, George and the Fillanders. 
Do you have any children of your own? If so, how old are they?No, I do not have any children of my own.
Please tell us a bit more about how you would describe yourself?I am a very positive person. I am a Libra and try and sort out both sides. I can get shy sometimes, yet I am confident and very out going person and love change.

What do your parents do?Are your parents still married? etc.My dad passed away 6 years ago, My mom is a full time pastor, one in PE and one in CT. My brother is a assisting pastor with his wife. My sister is 26 years old and is currently Au pairing for four years old, and I have 3 dogs, two Jack Russels and One German Shepard.
