How did you get involved in child care and why are you interested au pairing/ babysitting?I have always enjoyed looking after children
What is the age of the youngest child you have cared for?6 weeks old
What activities are you involved in?Gyming, Swimming.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies or other jobs?I enjoy reading, swimming, exercise and training, building puzzles and spending time with friends and family.
What do you like most about childcare and being part of a childs life?Interacting with them and watching their development improve over time. Having nothing to do while the younger kids are sleeping is probably the only down fall.
What kinds of activities do you enjoy doing with children?I enjoy taking them on outings to the beach, parks, play dates etc as well as painting, building puzzles, reading and playing outside.
Explain what you would do in case of an emergency?It would depends on the emergency. I would handle what i could on my own and contact the emergency service and parents thereafter.
What is the most difficult situation you have encountered while caring for a child? How did you handle it?Being in America and having to live with the family and adjust to their ways of living and parenting.
What is your approach to discipline?I strongly believe in discipline and in being firm but fair. I think that the parents should set the ground rules though.

How would you handle:

A two year old having a tantrum?Ignore it,it will pass then find out why they had the tantrum
A 5 year old drawing on a wall?Explain why it is wrong then help them clean it up 
An 8 year old refusing to do homework?Be creative and assist them, also explain why it is the right thing to do
