How did you get involved in child care and why are you interested au pairing/ babysitting?I got involved in childcare from babysitting for family friends. I am interested in au pairing/babysitting as I love children and kids.
What is the age of the youngest child you have cared for?The youngest child I have cared for is 5 months old.
What activities are you involved in?Activities I am involved in are going to the movies, reading, traveling and ice skating.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies or other jobs?In my spare time I read or spend time with my mom.

What do you like most about childcare and being part of a childs life?What I like most about childcare is that it teaches you patience, and its wonderful to be able to see them grow and learn.

How would you handle:

A two year old having a tantrum?If a 2 year old was throwing a tantrum, I would talk to them firmly, and explain why they can´t behave that way.
A 5 year old drawing on a wall?If a 5 year old was drawing on a wall, I would tell them that they are not suppose to draw on walls and you draw on paper. That if you draw on a wall, you making the wall ugly and then were have to clean it.
An 8 year old refusing to do homework?If an 8 year old was refusing to do their homework, I would tell them that doing their homework will make them smart and if they don´t do their homework they will get in trouble at school.
Which age groups are you comfortable working with?I am most comfortable working with children from 5 months up to 8 years old.
