How did you get involved in child care and why are you interested au pairing/ babysitting?I love looking after children and babies, It brings me joy
What is the age of the youngest child you have cared for?3 years up
What activities are you involved in?Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Kennels.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies or other jobs?I love animals, nature, being with my friends, shopping, babysitting.
What do you like most about childcare and being part of a childs life?I love the fact that children and I both enjoy being together and playing together.
What kinds of activities do you enjoy doing with children?I love going for walks on the beach, painting, singing, building puzzles, barbies, cars, whatever the children want to play.
Explain what you would do in case of an emergency?Get all other children out of the room, see if i could do anything with my first aid knowledge, then call an ambulance, and make sure that the child is clear of obstructions and is breathing
What is the most difficult situation you have encountered while caring for a child? How did you handle it?A baby that wouldn't settle, put her in the pram and took her for a walk to calm her down.
What is your approach to discipline?If the children are naughty, I let them sit on a naughty chair for(their age) in minutes.

How would you handle:

A two year old having a tantrum?Ignore it, it will pass, then tell them you are going to do something fun they can either join you or just sit there 
A 5 year old drawing on a wall?I would take away the crayon away explain to them that now I cant take it home but if you draw on the paper I can, and then make it something fun to clean up together
An 8 year old refusing to do homework?Be creative use star charts etc
Which age groups are you comfortable working with?I love all ages, I am more happy with toddlers and up.
