What do you like most about childcare and being part of a childs life?Bonding with the child and forming a relationship, earning there respect and trust. Each day is different and every child is different.
What kinds of activities do you enjoy doing with children?Playing age appropriate activities, taking them on outings e.t.c

What is the most difficult situation you have encountered while caring for a child? How did you handle it?I have never experienced a situation, that I have felt threatening or could not handle.
What is your approach to discipline?I do not believe in physical discipline. I believe in giving older children choices, and making them understand that bad behaviour has consequences, that they actively choose to receive.

How would you handle:

A two year old having a tantrum?I would leave the child in a safe environment and let them work through it by themselves, checking on them every now and then.
A 5 year old drawing on a wall?I would explain that this is bad behaviour and if they do it again, knowing that it is bad behaviour, they are making a choice not to watch there favourite TV show later.
An 8 year old refusing to do homework?Same concept applies as above. I would explain that they are actively choosing, through refusing to do there homework, to not watch there favourite TV show later.
