How did you get involved in child care and why are you interested au pairing/ babysitting?I got involved in child care for extra money, but now I love children and love looking after them.
What is the age of the youngest child you have cared for?18 months, my moms friends daughters child.
What activities are you involved in?I am involved in Boot Camp and volunteering at the aquarium.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies or other jobs?I work at the Boot Camp over the weekends.
What are your interests? 
What do you like most about childcare and being part of a childs life?I love how friendly and exciting they are. I love how they make everyone around them happy. I love working with them because they are easy to get along with. I am a fun loving and energetic person and that's why I think children love me so much.
What kinds of activities do you enjoy doing with children?I enjoy playing outside with them, I love to bake with them. I love making play dough. Educational games, team working, anything really.
Explain what you would do in case of an emergency?In any emergency I would contact the emergency numbers given by the client. I would then contact the client afterwards.
What is the most difficult situation you have encountered while caring for a child? How did you handle it?Last year a child at boot camp broke his arm, I splintered the kids arm and then contacted the child's parents to take him to hospital for x rays.
What is your approach to discipline?I would discuss it with the parents. Each child is different and parents have their own way of disciplining their children.

How would you handle:

A two year old having a tantrum?I would calm them down, distract them with something fun. Also find out why they are having a tantrum.
A 5 year old drawing on a wall?I would take the crayon away, explain why it is wrong and then ask them to help me clean the wall.
An 8 year old refusing to do homework?I would try and make it fun for them, there must be a reason why they dont want to do it. I could use star charts to keep them motivated.
Which age groups are you comfortable working with?Between ages 5 - 15 would be nice.
