Sitters / Au Pairs in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria - Sitters4U Babysitting, House sitting and Au Pair services. - RECOMMENDED FIRST AID COURSES

Looking for a first aid course? Be careful about your course provider. There are many companies offering first aid courses which are not SETA approved, often charging a similar or even higher fee than its registered and approved counterparts.

SETA is the acronym for Sector Education and Training Authority. These are industry bodies convened by the Minister of Labour with the mission to develop and implement a sector specific skills plan, registering and promoting learnerships and applying to SAQA ( South African Qualification Authority) for accreditation as an ETQA (Education and Training Quality Assurance Body) for qualifications in its sector.

We have scoured South Africa looking for the best training providers offering the best value for money courses.

Sitters4U highly recommends the level 1 first aid courses  provided by the National First Aid Academy . They are reasonably priced ( R 400 ( at the time of publication) whereas many other providers charge around R 600 to R 700 for the same course. They are a SETA approved and registered course provider, providing courses nationally. Please contact 086 163 2200 to make a booking or visit their website ;
Other SETA approved first aid course providers include:
Please always ask whether the provider of the course you are wanting to do and the course itself is SETA approved. A level 1 first aid course, should include a minimum of 16 hours of training.
If you are a candidate with Sitters4U who is awaiting approval pending the completion of your first aid course, you have been interviewed and reference checked and approved on all other mandates, please don't forget to send us a copy of your certificate so that we can approve you for listing.
