What is a Companion?
A companion fulfills a social service - providing conversation, company on social outings
Duties include driving, reading, chatting, general social activities, shopping, light household chores such as cooking and tidying, assistance to move around, outings, home management. Such staff must have relevant NQA-approved qualifications, and meet the requirements for accreditation.

How much does a Companion Cost?

* Saturday Rates are 1.5 times the above mentioned rates
** Sundays and Public Holidays are charged at double the above mentioned rates.
What are our placement fees for Companions?
Permanent Employment
- Registration Fee of R650 to cover administration costs of our comprehensive assessment and CV presentation processes.
- Once-off Placement fee equal to 100% of the gross monthly income of the candidate, should you employ them, due on acceptance of offer of employment by candidate.
Temporary Employment (less than 3 months)
- Registration Fee of R650 to cover administration costs of our comprehensive assessment and CV presentation processes.
- Placement fee equal to 30% of the gross income over the entire period of the employment, due on acceptance of offer of employment by the candidate.
Independent Contractors
- There is no placement fee. Frailcare4U collects fees on behalf of the independent contractor and provides a management service to the client. Independent contractors, aside from providing caring and nursing services, also provide services such as outings, shopping, etc.
- Registration Fee of R650 to cover administration costs of our comprehensive assessment and CV presentation processes.
- Flat fee of R270 per day for a carer without a driving license.
- Flat fee of R320 per day for a carer with a driving license.

Once this form is completed, we will call you back. Please allow at least 30 minutes for this telephonic appointment ( you can specify when you would like to be called). When the registration forms are signed and the registration fee is paid, you will be registered with us, and we will begin the process of placement by searching for the right person, and sending you full profiles of suitable candidates.
