Hotel and Establishment Babysitting Service
Sitters4U provides an Establishment/Hotel Babysitting service for the Cape Town Region only.
Sitters4U primary focus is dedicated to providing an extremely reliable, competent, professional service for private clients in the area and we aim for a high level of service with these clients. Normally before a client has a babysitter come to look after their children, they are sent the candidates short profile, so that the client can know that the person attending to their children are competent and experienced. Most of our babysitting candidates are au pairs by day however we do cater for day time babysitting request for hotels and establishments.We provide babysitting services of the above mentioned candidates, mainly to private clients, however we do also provide service to a number of hotels in Cape Town. The rates we charge private clients is R100 (ZAR) for once off service. However these clients give us 72 to 48 hours notice.
Hotels work on a completely different time scale, making service delivery slightly more difficult due to both time and candidate constrictions. Over the high season, our hotel rates increase by R20 p/h, due to the fact that qualified staff are generally booked far in advance and booking becomes extremely difficult on a short term requests.

Who are our Babysitters
We like to look at applicants as a whole, relying not only on what they have done but who they are as people. In order for a Babysitter to be registered with us all candidates need to fulfill the following minimum Babysitting Mandate:
- Has at least 1 years child care experience as an au pair or babysitter with contactable references. ( most have three or more years experience)
- Has her own reliable child safe vehicle and a valid South African driving license.
- Must hold a valid first aid certificate or apply to do one with Sitters4U on application with us.
- No criminal record.
- Must be in good health.
- Has a friendly, outgoing and caring personality.
- Is relatively active and enjoy being outdoors.
- Loves being around children and enjoy doing creative activities with them.
- Should be able to take the initiative in situations, from creating fun things to do, to handling an emergency situation.
- Look as child care as more than a job, see it as a commitment to the children they care for, and gain joy from the responsibilities of doing so.
FAQs
- A minimum booking of 3 hours per booking is required.
- A maximum of 5 children per sitter per booking.
- Bookings must be made a minimum of 4 hours before the time the babysitter is required.
- All bookings must take place before 5 pm.
- Rates are charged per hour. For example if a babysitter works for 3 hours and 30 minutes, rates will be charged for 4 hours.
- Payment is due to Sitters4U within 24 to 72 hours of service being rendered and must be paid directly to Sitters4U via bank deposit.
- The service fees are included in the hourly rate.
- Cancellation fee: R100 per cancellation is applicable.
- Rates are subject to change from time to time.
- Sitters4U will inform the client of such changes via email, to the email addresses provided by the client.
- Rates are charged at double the above mentioned rates, the day before public holidays and on public holidays.
- Bookings are subject to availability and service cannot be guaranteed.
