Ice Skating at Grand West
Visit Grand West Casino's Olympic sized Ice rink at the Grand West Casino! A family favorite, there is a kiddie sized rink for beginners as well.Remember to bring a change of clothes and extra socks if you will be skating. If you are only going to be watching it is still advisable to wear warm clothes. Butterfly World
Butterfly world is a magical kingdom for young and old. It is certainly one of the most unique attractions in the area and is located near the small Boland town of Klapmuts, which is very accessible to the many tourists visiting the area.Consisting of a tropical garden in a 1000 square metre green-house, you will see possibly the most exotic array of free flying butterflies in South Africa! Besides housing some of the world’s most beautiful creatures, Butterfly World is also home to a beautiful garden that boasts a large aviary, a Meer Kat enclosure and lots of free range ducks, chickens and goats, who are just waiting for children to feed them! Monkey Town
Monkey Town makes for another family fun day with a difference. Two Oceans Aquarium
Go an undersea adventure to the bottom of the ocean, to the rivers of the world and to the sandy shore lines of the continents with the Two Oceans Aquarium! Family Winter Special

Celebrate your Birthday with Table Mountain Cableway
Valid only on the day of your birthday.The Cableway will give you a FREE return ticket on your birthday! So ALL can enjoy at least one day of the year at the top of Table Mountain. Conditions: Please present your South African ID document on the DAY of your birthday at the lower station ticket office. Offer is valid on adult (18 years and older) return tickets only.
Anyone celebrating their birthday during our maintenance period has the privilege of making use of this offer one week prior or one week after our maintenance period if weather permits. Simply produce your South African ID on the day of your visit.
Class in the Clouds
Valid to South African Primary and High Schools only.
- More than 150 000 learners have participated in the Class in the Clouds programme since its inception in 2001.
- At R28.00 per learner your school can join Table Mountain Cableway's educational programme from 2 March to 30 October 2009.
- Includes a teacher's assistant.
- Booking is compulsory and no provisional or telephonic bookings are accepted.\
Hiker's Ticket
Valid before 9h30 every morning until 30 September 2009.
- The Cableway introduces a special ticket for hikers.
- The hiker's ticket is R38.00 for everyone travelling down in the cable car before 09h30 every morning.
- The hiker's ticket can only be purchased at the top station ticket office, situated inside the 'Shop at the Top' on top of Table Mountain.
Pensioners' Special
Valid for South African Senior Citizens (60 years and over) only until 30 September 2009.- For all those that are young at heart, the Cableway celebrates your glory years with you at R76.00 for a return ticket on the Senior Citizens Special.
- Ticket prices on the Senior Citizens Special are R76.00 return until 30 September 2009 (normal fare R145.00).
- Valid for South African senior citizens over the age of 60 years on presentation of a valid South African ID document.
