Au pair Service Fees

Registration:

  • Services are subject to the payment of a non-refundable registration fee of R 450 (ZAR).
  • The registration fee registers you for a maximum period of 90 days and registration is valid for the placement of the original enquiry only should changes be submitted after registration has taken place on the original requirements the registration fee may be due again.
  • This fee is applicable to both long and short term placements in order to initiate services with Sitters4U

Placement fees:

  • Placement fees are due immediately once Sitters4U has confirmed a candidate appropriate for placement with the family.

Long Term Placement Fee:

  • Long term placement is any placement for longer than a 90 day period.
  • Long Term Placement Fees: Negotiable based on requirements, provided on quote (We do not base our fees on the salary of the chosen candidate. It takes as much effort to place a half day position or a full day position, often with the half day positions being more difficult to source for than full day positions).
  • Ongoing Service fee for long term placement: R 500 per month or the equivalent of 10% of the monthly salary of the chosen candidate, whichever is greater. This is a standard finders service fee, paid to Sitters4U for the duration of the placement and allows us to provide ongoing free replacements for the duration of the contact as (hopefully not often) required ( most agencies only provide a 3 month guarantee, with us a placement is a long term commitment), free babysitting services as required ( should your candidate be unavailable), and allows for our continued efforts to ensure constant availability of trained, experienced, reference checked candidates in your area.

Short Term Placement Fee:

  • Short term placements are positions which fall over less than a 90 day period.
  • Less than 1 week: R 500 minimum or 30% of the total amount earned over the total period worked by the chosen candidate whichever is greater.
  • 1 week to 30 days: R 1000 minimum or 30% of the total amount earned over the total period worked by the chosen candidate whichever is greater.
  • 30 days to 90 days: R 3000 minimum  or 30% of the total amount earned over the total period worked by the chosen candidate whichever is greater.
  • The total to be earned by the candidate over the projected period worked is paid up front if less than 30 days or upfront on a monthly basis up to a maximum of 90 days.
  • Any amounts due above and beyond this will be charged for on the last day of the position.
  • Short term contracts are not renewable beyond 90 days.
