Candidate Preferences:    
Experience:    5yrs+ (Mature)
Educational Requirements: Candidates with a university level education will be prioritized due to the level of operation required.
VISA:         Preferably US | UK | Euro Passport as international travel with the family will be frequent

Duties and Expectations

Child Care

  • Getting the children ready for school daily, checking lunches and bags are packed to accommodate requirements at school
  • Accompany the children to and from school, appointments, play dates and extra murals.
  • Imparting personal hygiene and cleanliness education.
  • Supervising shower or bathtimes
  • Preparation of snacks, lunch or dinner (light only, else light cooking when accompanying the family whilst travelling).
  • Keeping records of the days activities, meals served and observe and monitor a child’s development for signs of emotional or developmental problems and bringing them to parent’s or guardian’s attention.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Communicating with teachers in order to ensure that the child/children's work is up to date.
  • Assisting to complete homework, projects and research, if necessary (the children do have tutors).
  • Creation, management and implementation of a child’s schedule including planning age appropriate, stimulating recreational activities, eating times and sleeping times.    
Home Management And Administrative Duties    
  • Managing nannies and domestic workers (ensuring duties are completed to expectation)(from 7h30 – 10h30)
  • Managing house staff and duties
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
  • Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
  • Email management and response when required
  • Running Errands when requested (A driver will be provided in these instances)
  • Taking minutes when requested.    

Starting Date Preferred:    01-12-2019

Times:     Monday to Saturday: 06h30 – 10h30 & 14h30 – 20h30

Duration of Contract:   2 years or longer preferred
Type:    Live In
Accommodation Offered: Own Room | Own Bathroom

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: R 20 000 - R 30 000 negotiable.
